Welcome to Insectika  Biotech

Bridging Sustainability and Economic Viability

Through distributed manufacturing, we use nature’s most efficient recycler to transform organic waste into high-value protein and bio-products.

Distributed Manufacturing

We scale through modular, repeatable systems allowing rapid expansion without reliance on a single centralized plant

About Us

We build disciplined, scalable systems designed to perform in the real business world

Insectika is a purpose-built biotechnology company focused on building real-world solutions that last.

We approach sustainability as an engineering and business challenge.

One that demands discipline, reliability, and long-term thinking.

A simple principle drives our work:

"Systems matter more than slogans"

From operations to product quality, we prioritize repeatability, efficiency, and measurable outcomes.

We operate with a long-term horizon, designing processes that can withstand scale, market pressure, and operational complexity.

This mindset allows us to deliver consistent outputs, build trusted partnerships, and grow responsibly alongside the communities we operate in.

What Sparked the Idea?

Insectika emerged from direct exposure to two connected problems: large volumes of organic waste and growing pressure on global protein supply. While working in humanitarian and food-security contexts, Arun Das encountered these challenges at a practical level rather than a theoretical one.

This experience led to a focus on systems that could address both issues simultaneously. Research into the Black Soldier Fly showed strong potential as a biological converter of waste into usable nutrition, provided it could be applied reliably and at scale.

Who Joined the Mission?

At the same time, Benjamin Rubin was finishing a series of successful ventures and looking to focus on a problem with long-term global relevance. With a background in biology and a focus on insects, he saw the potential to move insect protein beyond pilots and small experiments.

The collaboration brought together humanitarian perspective, biological understanding, and operational discipline. From the beginning, the goal was to build something that could operate reliably in real markets.
